Ned Meerdink is a Senior Program Officer in Field Building at RefugePoint and a member of the RSRI team. He supports the implementation of self-reliance programming and measurement with partners. Before joining RefugePoint, Ned was Head of Programs for American Refugee Committee’s Uganda Program, based in Kampala. Prior to that, Ned held similar field-based humanitarian program management roles in South Sudan, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Rwanda, Burundi, Sudan, and other locations. Ned attended the University of Wisconsin, where he received BA degrees in history and African studies. Ned also attended the School of International Development and Global Studies at the University of Ottawa in Ontario, Canada.
